Northside Church is in deep regret that a further postponement of onsite worship. We originally hoped to resume public services on Sunday, August 23, but the current situation warrants continued caution. A number of factors informed the ongoing suspension of onsite worship.  Fulton County continues to be a red zone for COVID-19 cases. Our area has the second-highest hospitalization rate and the highest mortality rate in Georgia. Bishop Sue Haupert-Johnson and the North Georgia  Conference cabinet have repeatedly urged churches to suspend public worship until the situation improves. To the best of our knowledge, no Methodist churches have resumed onsite worship inside the perimeter. This may extend to the entire metro area. All public school systems in the surrounding area have chosen to begin the year with virtual learning. The Director of APS facilities has made the decision, not to open any APS fields for outside groups like our recreation soccer league.
