In the state of Georgia, there are approximately 10,000 to 14,000 children in foster care — children who have suffered from emotional and physical abuse and neglect. These children have been moved into the foster care system to help them survive and thrive. Northside will be partnering with Wellroot Family Services, formerly known as the United Methodist Children’s home, to help each child receive a backpack with supplies for their 2026–2027 school year. For questions or concerns, contact Rev. Angela House. Visit our website for the supply list.
