This Sunday, we will have one combined service at 10:00AM. Our regular Sunday schedule resumes next week, May 31. Dr. Bill will begin a new sermon series entitled “Broken but Chosen” where we look at some of the dysfunctional families in the Book of Genesis and discover that God’s people are indeed broken but chosen! Join us for Traditional at 8:30 and 11:15AM or Contemporary at 9:00AM. Several of our regular adult Sunday School classes are combining for the summer; if you are looking for a place to plug in, join Dr. James Johnson in the Chapel at 10:10am. To see our full schedule, visit our online calendar.

“When I was hungry, you fed me.” Let us answer the burden of glory. Due to federal funds being cut, children will not have lunch following summer school, but we have an opportunity to be the church. Join in with other Northside members to make 200 bag lunches every Wednesday in June for our friends at PAWKids and in the 30318/30314 community. We will meet in the Old Kitchen at 9:00am. Please sign-up online.

In the state of Georgia, there are approximately 10,000 to 14,000 children in foster care — children who have suffered from emotional and physical abuse and neglect. These children have been moved into the foster care system to help them survive and thrive. Northside will be partnering with Wellroot Family Services, formerly known as the United Methodist Children’s home, to help each child receive a backpack with supplies for their 2026–2027 school year. In honor of Vacation Bible School, Children’s Ministry is partnering with Northside’s Missions to support PAWKIDS, a faith-based community hub that empowers neighbors with holistic resources and promotes self-sustainability rooted in dignity and connection. We encourage children to bring in their loose change or bills during the week of June 8-11. A name will be drawn from the grade level that raises the most money, and that student will get to pie one of our staff members! Contact NancyJeanneC@NorthsideUMC.org for more details.
